Acupuncture

Hair-thin needles are inserted into various key points of the body to promote blood flow and activate the nervous system. Gentle electrical stimulation may also be utilized with the needles to reset muscle contraction and neurological conditions.

Herbal Medicine

Depending on your specific diagnosis medicine derived from botanicals or plants can sometimes be the solution to your pain. The use of a naturally occurring organic substance may be the best way to get your body back on the path to health.

Cupping Therapy

An ancient therapy proven to be effective by science. Glass cups, that utilize a suction technique, may be used to relieve pain by separating the muscles and fascia to promote blood flow and stimulate the lymphatic system to reduce pain and assist your body’s healing potential.

Moxibustion

Sometimes it is best to combine therapies. In addition to acupuncture we may deem it best to warm the Chinese herbal Ai Ye (mugwort) over acupuncture points to enhance their function, warm the area and improve circulation.

Gua Sha

Another effective tool to alleviate pain and heal the body is Gua Sha. Gua Sha is a scraping action over an affected area with a tool, usually a jade stone, can be utilized to stimulate an acupuncture meridian or painful area to improve circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system.

Infrared Therapy

Our practice utilizes the most effective options in order to heal you quickly and effectively. Combining the modern with the ancient Infrared heat lamps are used during treatment to support the healing process by improving circulation of the affected area and to relax tight muscles.
